Guy Fawkes - Hero or Villain?

Was he a simple stooge or did he know what he was doing?

Was he brave or foolish?

Why did the Gunpowder Plot take place?

November the Fifth tells the tale of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot. It is a story that has great resonance today in this age of extremist belief, corrupt governments and religious terrorism. Follow the journey of Guy Fawkes from his beginnings as a mercenary to a dedicated follower of the Catholic cause.

This new adaptation of Chris Lambert’s 2001 musical is brought to life by Exiled Theatre and Theale Green students in an exciting blend of music, drama, action and comedy.

Tickets £7, £5 concessions

Since he was a child he was obsessed with the coming Apocalypse.

His mother would often tell him in excited tones about the End Times and how judgement day was coming very soon.

It didn’t.
But it still excited him. He played out a fantasy of survival, and longed for a world devoid of people, a world of peace and beauty, an idyll.
And then it came, just like she said.
And now he considered himself alone at last… But someone was just outside, standing at the door, knocking, waiting…
A fully interactive theatrical experience brought to you by Exiled Theatre.
A secret location for this performance is to be announced soon.
PLEASE NOTE: This event has changed venue from that advertised in the SITELINES brochure. Apologies for any inconvenience.
